This is a great place to live. I have been here for nearly six years now, and I love it. Shelby and Janice are awesome ... so helpful I quickly felt at home when I moved here. The Edge of Germantown was a great first experience for me and my husband. We lived there our first year of marriage. First ... off, the area is great. You're at the tip of East Memphis close enough to enjoy all the great stuff like Salsa's and One and Only, but also close enough to Germantown to enjoy Trader Joe's and Five Below. I never felt unsafe. The alarm system was great, but we honestly never needed it. Coming home at night alone as a female, I always felt completely comfortable. The managers keep people in line. They will make sure everyone follows the rules. No crazy loud parties or anything of that nature. This place is great for the quiet homebody that likes to feel like they have their own home (without actually owning one). Their occasional parties with free food and games are a blast, and they always go above and beyond via email or call if you need them. Safe, cozy, all the good things. I seriously couldn't be happier with The Edge of Germantown. The grounds are safe and well-maintained, the apartments are ... clean and quiet, the staff is friendly and attentive... I could keep going. These apartments are a little pricier than others in the area, but my opinion on apartments is you get what you pay for and it's definitely worth the extra few bucks a month.
